The Chattanooga Public Library is a leader in library makerspace around the world. The Chattanooga Public Library has a dedicated youth floor featuring hands on learning activities and programming, along with an industry standard public recording studio and 12,000 square foot makerspace.

On May 18th, the 4th Floor of the Chattanooga Public Library will host the fourth annual Chattanooga Zine Fest, a festival of independently produced books and magazines.

Submissions for vendor tables at Zine Fest will open in January and go through April. We aim to feature a wide range of independent zine makers. Experienced and novice self-publishers are welcome.

This year we will also have a youth zine making area. This will feature a hands on zine making station with a variety of ephemera and resources to make your very own zine. The teen department will also have a booth where young zinesters can sell and promote their creations. Youth will be inspired by over 50 zine makers from across the Southeast and hopefully find a new avenue for getting their voice heard!
