A family-friendly activity for all ages, the City Nature Challenge is an international initiative that encourages communities to collaborate and share observations of nature across the globe.

Taking part in the Challenge’s “bioblitz” is easy! After spotting wildlife and plants, participants will take pictures using the iNaturalist app and upload their observations for documentation and identification.

Friends of the Riverfront will join the nature walk to help identify species and share the history of the Three Rivers Heritage Trail. Walking along the Three Rivers Heritage Trail will happen rain or shine. Please dress appropriately and bring water bottles. A smartphone or tablet is also highly recommended for participants.
