Join All Faiths Food Bank, in collaboration with CORE SRQ, for a family cooking class. During this event, parents and children will learn about the different food groups and kitchen safety, how to read a recipe, and play fun games like MyPlate Bingo.
Families will prepare a meal that they will enjoy together at the end of the class. Participants will receive a free cookbook, and all materials are available in English and Spanish. In the lobby, there will be representatives who can take applications and answer questions on the SNAP Program and a paint-with-food craft table for the kids. Registration is required.
