By the end of this workshop, you will be prepared to teach the CS Fundamentals course for your grade level (grades K-5) and have a better understanding of the importance of starting computer science education at an early age.
CS Fundamentals is a computer science curriculum designed for students in grades K-5, made up of six age-appropriate courses. Each course includes unplugged class activities, online puzzles to reinforce CS concepts, and open-ended projects that students can create. By the end of this workshop, you will be prepared to teach the CS Fundamentals course for your grade level (grades K-5) and have a better understanding of the importance of starting computer science education at an early age.
Lunch is provided and each participant will receive a printed curriculum guide, and a certificate of completion. Limited to 32 participants.
