Monday, April 29 @ 9:00 am - 1:30 pm
  • This event has passed.

This event will be a fun-filled day of science, X-Rays and Technology at the Community College of Allegheny County. We will focus on careers in STEM and the Allied Health fields.

This is a day where the Community College of Allegheny County (Boyce Campus) brings in elementary students from the Plum Borough School District and teaches the students about careers in STEM (Biology, Chemistry and Physics/Astronomy). Also, we expose the students to career paths in Allied Health fields.

This day involves several science experiments and interesting lectures from the X-Ray Technology program. The X-Ray Technology Program gives an interesting lecture with pictures (X-Rays) of interesting things people have swallowed.

The students are then fed lunch and sent back to their respective schools.
