Join art educator and scholar Merav Kamel in the Children’s Museum’s Art Studio to learn how she creates her artworks and to contribute to a collaborative piece using her techniques. Kamel joins us from Bat Yam, Israel. She received her BFA from the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design in Jerusalem and has exhibited in numerous solo and group exhibitions including: Herzliya Museum; Ha’Kibbutz Gallery in Tel Aviv; Basis Gallery in Herzliya; Contemporary Gallery in Tel Aviv; Inga Gallery in Tel Aviv– and many more. Kamel has been working in collaboration with artist, Halil Balabin and teaches art to young students.

Merav Kamel is a current participant in the F.I.N.E. Art Residency program at Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh.
