Please join AppHarvest along with Rowan County Senior High School as we host Farming Now: Creating America’s AgTech capital in Appalachia! This event will take place at Menifee County High School container farm, this retrofitted cargo unit has a vertical hydroponic system inside, made to grow thousands of fresh leafy greens from seed to harvest! Accompanied with red and blue LED and a sensor operated data monitoring system, this farm has much to offer any visitor. We will be seeding, transplanting, and harvesting in the farm. We will also be discussing controlled environment agriculture and how the world needs more safe/fresh foods!
