Freeze Drying and Bread Baking at St. Vincent Mission.

Come join us at the Mission to explore how to freeze dry garden produce, meals, & ice cream sandwiches using our new Harvest Right Freeze Dryers.
We’ll also be trying our hand at bread and jam making with our new Zojirushi Home Bakery Supreme Bread Machines. They are able to bake bread, make jams & jellies, meat loaves, cakes, and sour dough breads. Kids are encouraged to come and try their hand at bread machine baking, chopping veggies for the freeze dryers, and taste testing breads and jams.
We’ll give a tour of the Mission and all the different programs that we use to serve the community and we’ll serve refreshments and samples of what our equipment produces.
