Boys & Girls Clubs of Western Pennsylvania operates after school and summer programming out of eight sites throughout Western Pennsylvania. Our goal is to provide every child with the essential tools needed for a successful and bright future. Since 1888, when we were founded, the vision of Boys & Girls Clubs has grown and changed with the needs of our children. As the needs of our children and their families continue to change, so will the dynamics of our programs and services.

The Pittsburgh Project is a Christian nonprofit community development organization with a thirty-two year history of service to the Pittsburgh area, through investment in future leaders and vulnerable homeowners.

Located on Pittsburgh’s Northside, our staff operates a progressive series of youth after-school programs, welcomes partners year-round to serve community homeowners, and operates local recreation spaces.

This event is an opportunity for the community of young makers and their families to come together in celebration of their work and to inspire each other with new ideas. The event will feature a LEGO robotics competition, the Museum of Tinker and a variety of hands-on making activities. Come and be inspired by work made 100% by students and become a maker yourself with a few make and take activities.
