About this event

Learn about the physics of using a drop spindle to make yarn!

In this class we will be learning how to spin two or more pieces of yarn together on a drop spindle, and will try making yarn from wool fiber. We will explore the science and art behind these processes, which can be used to make yarn and cordage for craft projects, jewelry making, and more.

This virtual class is free thanks to The DeBruce Foundation. All participants will receive a kit of supplies that must be picked up at ScrapsKC, 3269 Roanoke Road, KCMO.
