Hoist the duct tape and swab the cardboard! Your engineering design skills will be tested as your team plans and builds a cardboard boat to race across the Henderson Center Pool.
Add some S.T.E.A.M. to your summer with the annual June Harless Center Cardboard Boat Regatta. Participants will put their engineering design skills and creativity to the test as they design, build, and race boats consisting only of cardboard and duct tape.
Join us for a day filled with problem-solving, teamwork, and summer fun as teams build and navigate their epic cardboard creations across the Rec Center pool.
There will be three grade levels in the competition: 3-5; 6-8; and 9-12.
