The Living Museum and Career Readiness Experience will be presented by the 5th and 6th-grade students in our building. They will showcase historical figures and careers of interest to our friends and families in the c community. We will have a hands-on Makey Makey, as well!
The Living Museum and Career Readiness Experience will be presented by the 5th and 6th-grade students in our building. They will showcase historical figures and careers of interest to our friends and families in the community. We will have a hands-on Makey Makey, as well! The 5th-grade students will research and create an interactive experience to describe the public figure of their choice using the Who was/is? Book Series. They will elaborate on the individual’s life and connect the career of that person to current positions in our world. At the event, they will dress and act like their selected individual and share what they have learned in an interactive way. The 6th-grade students will research and present careers of their choice. They will invite people holding those positions from our community to join the event to share personal experiences from their careers with those attending our event. In addition to these two experiences, we will have a Makey Makey presentation and interactive experience in our Library. Students will make connections between coding, technology, and science with the use of the Makey Makey devices. We look forward to sharing these experiences with you in May!
