Learn to appreciate the LITTLE things in life! Join us for a short hike to search for interesting natural objects, which we'll examine through amazing portable microscopes.
In this family-friendly event, we’ll take a short hike through WVU’s Core Arboretum, make observations about what we find, then examine our discoveries using amazing portable microscopes. This event is perfect for students ages 8 and up, and their families.
This event will take place on Sunday, April 23rd from 11 am -12:30 pm. Meet in the parking lot of WVU’s Core Arboretum in Morgantown. We’ll go for a short walk in the upper portion of the Arboretum to find cool specimens, then meet on the lawn to look at our objects under the microscopes.
Please dress for the weather, wear sturdy shoes, and bring water!
