About this event

Stop by Sizerville State Park to learn all about salamanders, why they are important, and go on a hunt to find one!

Did you know that salamanders can breathe through their skin and that they undergo metamorphosis? Answers to these questions and more will be main topic of this program.  Come out and join the park educator for a general info talk on these amphibians, their role in the ecosystem, and have the opportunity to find one at Sizerville State Park!  Feel free to wear water shoes, bring dry clothes, a water bottle, or a towel.  Meet at the Environmental Learning Center.
