Common Sense is the nation's leading nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of kids and families by providing the trustworthy information, education, and independent voice they need to thrive in the 21st century.
Kids often engage in exploring and experimenting online. Their insights can be valuable to the whole community, including families of elementary, middle, or high school students. We’ll invite a panel of teens to talk about the opportunities and pitfalls they’ve experienced online so parents of younger students can anticipate how to support their kids in the coming years.
Drawing on the experiences of teens within the community this session will encourage parents and caregivers to have meaningful conversations with students about their digital lives. Participants will receive resources, practical tools, and advice from Common Sense Media.
