PBL Challenge

Hosted by CraftEd Curriculum
Monday, May 4 @ 8:00 am - Wednesday, May 20 @ 5:00 pm

CraftED Curriculum is a professional development provider for Project-based Learning across the U.S. Based in San Diego County, CraftED supports many local schools and districts, through teacher workshops, project coaching, curriculum design, and leadership support. CraftED was founded in 2016 by Dr. Jennifer Pieratt, educator, speaker and author of "Keep it Real with PBL".

The PBL Challenge is a free 20 day challenge that is run on Instagram and Twitter for teachers who are interested in Project-based Learning, but who need a little more encouragement. Every day a different challenge is posted for teachers to try a best practice of PBL- from critical thinking routines to exhibiting student work publicly, to having students work in groups using best practices of collaboration, to attempting field work. For every challenge a series of resources are provided to help teachers with the specific challenge. At the conclusion of the 20 days teachers will come together to participate in an introductory workshop that shows them how to incorporate these practices into a project.
