About this event

We invite you to slow down and take a closer look at the everyday spaces in your community. Slow down on your daily walk or sit down in your favorite space to take a closer look. Share a picture or pictures of the space. Take pictures of the entire space or a part of the space.

What do you notice and wonder?
The space as living history: what is the past, present and future of this space?
What might be the purpose of this space?

Document your experience by sharing your image and/or words that represent your thinking on our community padlet: https://padlet.com/ecdean1/k3rc0psgikyre7kw

(Re)seeing the Spaces in our Community is an opportunity for all of us to slow down as we begin to emerge from the past year. Our spaces, like so many aspects of our lives, have taken on a whole new meaning during life in the time of COVID. This is NOVA*PZ’s invitation to join us as we take time to slow down, take a closer look, and think.

Slow looking, slow walking, and re-imagining inspired by Shari Tishman, Paul Salopak, & Caitling Teal Price.

NOVA*PZ is a group of Project Zero practitioners in and around Northern Virginia. The group gathers periodically throughout the year to slow down, escape from the hustle and bustle of our everyday lives and (re)focus on our common interest in learning more about Project Zero research and pedagogy.
