About this event

Using a simple coding platform, your child will quickly learn how to code games, and solve other problems!

In this event, participants will learn about using the coding software, Scratch, and they will learn the basics of how to make a simple game. They will explore loops, variables, movement, and user control to create their own racing game that they can play against others once they are finished. Ages 7 and up. Participants must make a scratch account before the session.

Students can follow the steps and create their accounts. They will also need a laptop or desktop computer to code on. A strong wifi signal is recommended.
