Join young entrepreneurs virtually from around Pittsburgh as they share their student startups and get feedback from the community! During the event, students will share the businesses they’ve been building in their classrooms – and mentors (and audience members!) will have the opportunity to offer questions, suggestions, and connections to help the students and their business succeed!
**The virtual event has concluded, but you can still view the event online at: https://www.realworldscholars.org/edcorps-remake-learning. We welcome all ongoing community feedback for these student-run businesses by May 23rd. After that date, we will collect the feedback and share with the students. **
All around the greater Pittsburgh region, students of all ages are using the EdCorps program to start student-run businesses and expand their entrepreneurial mindset. From website design to podcasts, to 3D printing, local students are running startups as an integral part of the classroom experience – and they need help from the community!
During this virtual event, students will present their businesses to a panel of entrepreneurial mentors from around the region. Mentors will have the opportunity to offer questions and insights to help students expand their business and entrepreneurial experience. Audience members are also invited to participate, as the chat will be open for crowd-sourced questions, comments, and ideas.
After the event and for the duration of Remake Learning Days, community members can continue to lend their support for local student startups on the Pittsburgh EdCorps Remake Learning page (www.realworldscholars.org/Pittsburgh). The RWS team will curate all student feedback – and help them use the experience and input to take their business and learning to the next level.
Come watch how students are using entrepreneurship as a force for learning – and how you can help them grow!
