About this event

Our goal, as the NA Ted Talk Club, is to help revitalize the individual’s search for knowledge and sharing that with others through conversation and effective communication. We strongly believe that sharing unique perspectives is imperative for the betterment of our society.

With an increasingly flat world, it’s important that students recognize the interconnectedness of communities and cultures across the world. Ted-Ed clubs are a terrific conduit for the representation of this worldly mentality. Students who are selected for this event will be given an opportunity to reflect on this in their own, individual way–furthering the spread of constructive conversation across the greater pittsburgh area, and across the world.

This event will bring together students from a variety of school districts in Allegheny County. Following the TED Ed format, students will have an opportunity to share their thoughts around the topic of Global Citizenship.
