Participants will use sensory kits to allow their imaginations to explode, building and constructing using various sensory materials.
Participants will have access to various themed sensory kits with play doh, kinetic sand, and/or slime. There will also be building materials like pipe cleaners, wooden sticks, etc. Participants will allow their imaginations to run wild and combine their artistic ability and engineering experience to create a whatever their brain can dream using the various kits. They can share their creations by leaving them up to view until a new participant re-uses the materials. The build can be a kick-start to a creative writing piece. In addition to this event being part of our District-wide STEM Showcase that will be open to the public, students in our building will be partaking in the event during their regular school day.
