Our mission is to build a vibrant and sustainable entertainment industry in Southwestern Pennsylvania. One of the ways in which we execute this mission is through our Youth & Media Program. The goal of the program is to expose students to the opportunity of fulfilling careers in media and entertainment. At WQED, we educate and empower a new generation of storytellers.
WQED Steeltown’s Teaching Artists are available to come into the classroom to regularly supplement or lead an existing program, help create a new digital filmmaking program, or host workshops for students and professional development sessions for teachers!
