WVU College Sampler Day

Hosted by West Virginia University Benjamin M. Statler College of Engineering and Mineral Resources
Saturday, May 9 @ 9:00 am - 12:30 pm

The Statler College mission is to prepare students for success in their professional careers; to contribute to the advancement of society through learning, discovery, extension, and service; and to stimulate economic well-being in West Virginia and the world through technical innovation, knowledge creation, and educational excellence.

Middle school students and their parents are invited to join us on WVU’s Evansdale campus for an opportunity to learn about majors housed within three Colleges including the John Chambers College of Business and Economics, Reed College of Media, and the Benjamin M. Statler College of Engineering and Mineral Resources.

After a welcome from University Relations, participants will cycle through three 45-minute stations representing majors in each of the academic units including on-camera storytelling, the engineering design process, and hospitality innovation and technology.

This free event will be limited to the first 50 families who register online.
