Remake Learning Days would like to thank the following organizations for their support in producing the learning festival in southwestern Pennsylvania through strategic partnerships.

 

The Allegheny County Library Association (ACLA) is a system of 46 independent public libraries with more than 70 locations that work together, share resources and cooperate to better serve county residents. These libraries are community connectors providing opportunities for personal and professional development through access to content and experiences for all ages. ACLA libraries support education and exploration while developing early literacy skills, school readiness and lifelong learning.

 

The Allegheny Intermediate Unit, also known as the AIU, is a regional public education agency and a crucial part of Pennsylvania’s public education system.  Our caring staff of educators, administrators and support staff provide specialized services to Allegheny County’s suburban school districts as well as non-public, charter and vocational-technical schools.  Our agency is a liaison with the Pennsylvania Department of Education and we proudly operate three schools for exceptional children, 11 family centers and about 130 programs for children, adults and families.  

 

Allegheny Partners for Out-of-School Time (APOST) is a partnership of funders, intermediaries and providers dedicated to building a quality Out-of-School Time (OST) System that will contribute to the healthy successful development of young people as they progress through their school years, graduate from high school and enter into adulthood.  Read more about our Mission and Vision.

 

The Arts Ed Collaborative collaborates with educators to unlock the transformative power of the arts. We envision a diverse group of educators in Southwestern Pennsylvania that immerses young people – regardless of appearance, ability, income, or ZIP Code – in powerful, personally relevant arts learning that transforms their sense of self, ability to share thoughts and feelings, and capacity to shape communities.

 

 

 

Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh is supporting individual achievement and strengthening the power of community. Through the community’s investment, the Library is enhancing the lives of people in the greater Pittsburgh region with dynamic and diverse resources such as creative learning programs for children and teens, job and career assistance for our community’s workforce, and free computer and Internet access for all. Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh builds community, enables learning, provides access and values people.

 

The Mentoring Partnership advances mentoring in Western PA to ignite community involvement, strengthen programs, and empower youth to succeed in life.  We deliver services that help new and existing programs understand and apply research-based best practices to ensure high quality mentoring and training that helps caring adult volunteers be prepared to be great mentors!  Working with the staff and volunteers of local programs and community and corporate leaders, we are dedicated to making sure that any child who wants or needs a mentor has access to a caring adult who can encourage and support them.

 

 

The WIU is a regional education services agency that provides cost-effective, management-efficient programs to public and private K-12 schools, school districts, and the community of Westmoreland County and beyond.  Today, we continue to fulfill our mission of service by addressing both traditional and emerging needs, serving as an essential link for learning in Pennsylvania, and as a liaison between local schools and the Pennsylvania Department of Education.
