About this Event

Celebrating the inaugural journey of TIU 11's new STEAM Mobile Makerspace (ROVER), bringing STEAM learning to K-12 students in Fulton, Huntingdon, Juniata and Mifflin Counties.

STEAM activities offered come from the Carnegie Science Center’s Makers in Motion® curriculum including lessons aligned with schools’ STEELS aligned student learning, engineering design challenges and capstone projects.

Our new STEM outreach with a future-focused, fully equipped makerspace on wheels in your organization or on the road. With a fully equipped makerspace that can be set up anywhere — in classrooms, gymnasiums, libraries, organizations, or even outdoors.

Projects include laser cut challenges to fabricate a glider or car, for optimal performance, or a keytag to express creativity.

Scheduling with TIU 11’s ROVER Team Eric, Jigar and Peney by invitation only.

New dates:  Thurs., May 8th and Thurs., May 22nd
