#SuncoastRemakeDays

Join us for Remake Learning Days in the Suncoast region!

Remake Learning Days launches its fourth festival in the Suncoast region of Florida! Join us for a festival of multi-site, hands-on learning opportunities. These events will allow youth, families, grandparents, caregivers, and educators to explore creative and fun ways of learning.   Build a robot, make an art product, explore the outdoors, learn to code, or 3D print!  Attend events at schools, museums, libraries, after-school organizations, childcare centers, tech companies, and more.

The Suncoast Campaign for Grade-Level Reading (SCGLR) is bringing Remake Learning Days to the Suncoast of

Florida, Charlotte, DeSoto, Manatee, and Sarasota counties in the spring of 2025, and we want YOU to be a part of it!

Suncoast Remake Learning Days is a 15-day festival of free events for children and families…think of it as the world’s largest multi-site open house from April 19 to May 3, 2025. The deadline to submit events is February 15, 2025. Be sure to have your event in by that date to participate in this learning festival!

Suncoast Remake Learning Days will build on the assets and strengths of our region, reinforcing the knowledge that Learning Happens Everywhere and affirming that we are working together toward greater outcomes for our children and families.

Suncoast Remake Learning Days events will be organized by learning themes, including the arts, maker spaces, outdoor learning, science, technology, and youth voice. In addition, there will be professional development opportunities for school, out-of-school, child care, and non-traditional educators.

Thanks to the generosity of The Patterson Foundation, these multi-generational hands-on learning experiences will be robust, free, accessible, and open to the public.

The Patterson Foundation

The world moves at the speed of change, and change happens at the speed of trust. The Patterson Foundation believes that philanthropy strengthens the efforts of people, organizations, and communities. Strong communities work together to achieve shared aspirations and can even thrive in the face of adversity.

Rather than having grant cycles or requests for proposals, The Patterson Foundation invests in strengthening communities. Support through the thoughtful use of assets takes time and intention. That is why we focus on helping people engage with each other, providing expertise, encouraging learning, and sharing promising practices.
