What do you do as an Ambassador?

Whether you are a “Youth” or “Parent/Teacher” Ambassador, here is what you’ll be doing as an advocate for Remake Learning Days.

Experience RLD

  • Plan to attend two (2) Remake Learning Days events between May 1-23, 2026 in your PA region. Beginning in March, you’ll be able to search the RLD events calendar for events by date, learning theme, location and age group.

Share about Your Events

  • Prior to attending your events, share about the events you’ve chosen to attend and why you’re excited about these RLD events. You can share through your social media channels or however you communicate with your network.

Give Feedback

  • After attending the two events, share your feedback through an event review and post on your social media channels or however you communicate with your network.

RLD Youth Ambassadors

In partnership with Saturday Light Brigade, the Remake Learning Days across PA Youth Ambassador Program is an opportunity for high school teenagers to help increase awareness, enthusiasm, and attendance during Remake Learning Days (RLD). Since 2021, hundreds of Youth Ambassadors have covered RLD events, and we are excited to continue this program for the 2026 RLD Across PA festivals.

As an RLD Youth Ambassador, you will cover two Remake Learning Days events taking place in your PA region. “Coverage” of an event includes the creation of an event promo, attendance of the event, and an event review. Ambassadors are eligible for a honorarium of up to $250.

RLD Youth Ambassadors will receive expert guidance from SLB Radio Productions, Inc. in the form of virtual training and check-in sessions, as well as a digital toolkit with self-help resources. Successful Youth Ambassadors will think creatively and act independently as they create their promos and reviews. Key to this success is communication: students should be ready and able to stay in touch via email in order to communicate their needs and provide feedback

Applications are open! Apply by March 1, 2026. Youth applicants will be accepted on a rolling basis and notified in early March 2026 at the latest.

RLD Parent & Teacher Ambassadors

The Remake Learning Days across PA Ambassador Program is an opportunity for parents, teachers, and other adult caregivers to help increase awareness, enthusiasm, and attendance during Remake Learning Days (RLD). We know that parents trust information from other parents and from teachers. We want to use that influence to promote Remake Learning Days to families across Pennsylvania!

As an RLD Ambassador, you will cover two Remake Learning Days events taking place in your region. “Coverage” of an event includes the creation of an event promo, attendance of the event, and an event review. Parent-Teacher Ambassadors are eligible for a honorarium of up to $250. In addition, they will complete an Agreement with the Allegheny Intermediate Unit and agree to this Media Release Form.

RLD Ambassadors will receive guidance from the festival in the form of virtual training and office hour sessions in March and April as well as a digital toolkit. Successful Ambassadors will think creatively and act independently as they create their promos and reviews and share about the importance of family-engaged learning. Key to this success is communication: Ambassadors should be ready and able to stay in touch via email in order to communicate their needs and provide feedback.

Applications are open! Apply by March 1, 2026. Accepted applicants will be notified in early March 2026.
