About this Event

R.O.C.K. and SFU’s Chemistry Club will lead K-12 students through fun, hands-on science activities. For older students (grades 6-12), SFU student mentors will work with the students to learn about semi-conductors and the chemistry behind bath bombs. For younger students (K-5), our student mentors will work with students to learn about glow stick chemistry as well as acid/base reactions. All ages will gain experience (and have fun!) completing science experiments and making observations. All ages will end the evening by making liquid nitrogen ice cream for the whole family!
