About this Event

Explore the connection between raw materials and our cellphones and how we connect with the world around us!

Using learning materials provided by the Smithsonian’s National Museum of Natural History’s exhibit Cellphone: Unseen Connections, the National Museum of Industrial History, a Smithsonian Affiliate, will guide families through learning about the raw materials needed to manufacture cellphones and discuss the relationship we have to our cellphones and to our environment through hands-on activities and interactive discussions! This free program is part of Free Family Sundays at the museum, where children 12 and under receive free admission to the museum with a paid adult admission.
