Explore at Your Own Pace
Start at the learning station that best fits your interests. Our hands-on stations are designed for different age groups—beginning with activities for babies and toddlers and growing through school-age, teen, and adult learning opportunities. This progression highlights that it’s never too early or too late to engage in STEM!
What to Expect:
- Interactive STEM stations featuring technology, experiments, and hands-on learning.
- Take & Make Kits—check out fun kits exploring science, coding, and more.
- Girls in STEM Spotlight—browse a special collection of library books focused on inspiring future female scientists, engineers, and tech leaders.
At the end, we hope you’ll tell us which STEM resources you’d like to see in future library programs!
At the Altoona Area Public Library, we believe in keeping young minds growing, active, and engaged with STEM learning at every stage of life. Best of all? Most of our programs are completely free to the public.
