About this Event

Learn how to add STEM learning throughout your life, from infancy to adulthood, through the use of books and technology.

Discover the excitement of STEM learning this interactive event designed for curious minds of all ages! Whether you’re a parent with a little one, a teen exploring new interests, or an adult looking to expand your skills, this event has something for everyone.

Explore at Your Own Pace
Start at the learning station that best fits your interests. Our hands-on stations are designed for different age groups—beginning with activities for babies and toddlers and growing through school-age, teen, and adult learning opportunities. This progression highlights that it’s never too early or too late to engage in STEM!

What to Expect:

  • Interactive STEM stations featuring technology, experiments, and hands-on learning.
  • Take & Make Kits—check out fun kits exploring science, coding, and more.
  • Girls in STEM Spotlight—browse a special collection of library books focused on inspiring future female scientists, engineers, and tech leaders.

At the end, we hope you’ll tell us which STEM resources you’d like to see in future library programs!

At the Altoona Area Public Library, we believe in keeping young minds growing, active, and engaged with STEM learning at every stage of life. Best of all? Most of our programs are completely free to the public.
