About this Event
A Walk in Art History will be an exciting and educational activity for everyone! Children and families will be able to "find the artist" and lifesize installations of famous artist will be Public Square throughout Fiesta.
“A Walk in Art History” will be original, fun, and educational for all ages. This experience for the community is a first for the region. Guests will be able to visit artists from around the world, learn about their artwork and the mediums in which they chose to create art and, view examples of their works of art. This will be accomplished with life size installations of the artists accompanied by a brief biography of the artists and some examples of their most famous works of art. Children will be encouraged to ” find the artist” using a coloring book and map of the ” Walk in Art History”. This event will be both fun and educational for all ages. Financial support for this project will aid the Fine Arts Fiesta greatly and will enhance all the wonderful interactive activities for all our guests.
