About this Event

Learn how to explore the night sky through a pair of binoculars!

Has looking up on a clear, starry night sparked curiosity and imagination to learn more about the objects we share space with? Binoculars are a great way to get a closer look into the universe!

Come join ORAS Saturday, May 17th to get hands-on experience using our binocular observing kits. We will go over proper use of binoculars and small telescopes, what you can expect to see in the May night sky, and what various objects look like through binoculars vs our unaided eye. Weather depending, you will also get to take a look through the ORAS observatory telescopes! (This event is FREE, however donations are always appreciated!)
