The Schoolwide Math Competition at T.M. Peirce Elementary School
T.M. Peirce Elementary School students will compete to determine which class has the most students who correctly answer the math problem given. Each student in each class in each grade (there are two classes per grade) will verbally solve a grade-relevant math problem. Students will encourage classmates, communicate with adults, and display patience while waiting their turn to respond.
The winning class will be provided with a pizza party, water ice, pretzels, and/or ice cream and cake. All participating students will be given a certificate of participation and/or a “medal” to wear around his/her neck.
