Sophia is a volleyball player and an active percussionist involved in various bands, including jazz, marching, concert, and county bands. She plays drumset and bass for her school’s high jazz band, while also performing on mallet instruments for the concert band. When she’s not playing music, Sophia is focused on running her nonprofit organization, which provides over 1,000 pairs of pajamas to children each year. She also volunteers as a firefighter and EMT, helping her community. Outside of her work and volunteerism, Sophia enjoys biking, exploring, and camping. During the summer, she works as a lifeguard at an overnight Girl Scout camp.
