Maricruz lives on a farm and likes to help garden. She is part of the girls soccer team and Best Robotics team at her school. In her free time she likes to read and draw. She enjoys volunteering at Buckwheat pancakes events and helping at the VA. She takes Girls Who Code, an outside of school program, to learn coding. After she graduates she plans to go to college for aerospace engineering. When she sees new opportunities she does them with an open mind and a willingness to learn.
