My Neighborhood, My Community: Please join us for My Neighborhood, My Community! Families will learn to extend their knowledge about their community and get excited about their neighborhood. There are many community places that we visit every day, and we will create and learn about these places in our community through art for a large Mural in our library. Use simple materials to create an interactive map of local landmarks. Let’s get creative with this playful learning experience where young children create a visual representation of their neighborhood, identify key landmarks and places they visit regularly, and important neighborhood features, all while helping them develop spatial awareness and an understanding of their surroundings while fostering a sense of belonging within our great community.
