Join us for an Artistic Upcycling event where you can transform second-hand items by painting them into unique, creative pieces!

This event features two separate sessions designed for different age groups.

The first session is for 10 home-educated young people, ages 7 to 16. In this session, children will have the chance to explore their creativity by upcycling second-hand items in a fun, hands-on environment. With the help of an instructor, they’ll learn painting and design techniques while transforming ordinary objects into something special. This session is an excellent opportunity for young people to express themselves artistically while developing an appreciation for sustainability.

The second session, for 15 adults (18+), will focus on reimagining old, forgotten items like house hold decorations, picture frames, and more. With the guidance of an instructor, participants will learn how to breathe new life into these objects using paint and creative techniques. Not only will you create a unique art piece, but you’ll also gain valuable upcycling skills that you can apply at home to reduce waste and enhance your space.

Both sessions will last 1.5 hours, providing enough time for everyone to complete their projects and take home a one-of-a-kind creation. This event highlights the importance of sustainability in the arts and encourages participants to see beauty in what might otherwise be discarded.
