Anna V. Blake teaches STEAM to 3rd through 5th grade students and leads the robotics club at Mt. Vernon Elementary. She incorporates hands-on activities, including virtual robotics and engineering challenges, to foster creativity, problem-solving, and perseverance in her students. Anna is passionate about engaging young learners in computational thinking and engineering concepts. Along with her colleague Melissa Unger, she co-authored Capturing Creativity: 20 Easy Ways to Bring Low-Tech STEAM into Your Classroom, available on Amazon. In her free time, she enjoys watching hockey, especially the Pittsburgh Penguins, practicing yoga, and traveling the world.
