Teresa Brown is a curriculum specialist at Intermediate Unit 1 and a veteran educator with over a decade of experience in STEM classrooms. As a doctoral candidate in Curriculum and Instruction, she combines her academic expertise with practical experience to help educators create classrooms where students actively explore and make meaning of mathematics. Her approach to teaching and learning focuses on fostering deep understanding and critical thinking through welcoming classroom cultures. In addition to her work as a professional development facilitator and instructional coach, Teresa has also had the privilege of supporting schools across the region in integrating generative AI into education through the design of high quality instruction and personalized learning opportunities.
