About this Event

A night of pioneer crafts, games and teats - fun for the whole family

Step back in time and join us for Pioneer Lab Remake Learning Day — a hands-on family event filled with crafts, games, and tasty treats! On May 13 from 4:00 to 6:30 PM, families are invited to explore everyday life in the pioneer era through creative, interactive stations designed for all ages.

What to expect:

– Pioneer Crafts: Each craft connects to pioneer skills and includes easy, guided steps so children and adults can learn together.

– Period Games: Try classic pioneer games that encouraged resourcefulness and play —inspired by historical themes, and cooperative challenges that spark teamwork and problem-solving.

– Tasty Treats: Sample simple pioneer-style snacks and refreshments that showcase the flavors of the past. Enjoy hands-on food activities like pressing apple cider or assembling a quick pioneer snack while learning about food traditions and preservation.

– Learning Moments: Short, friendly demonstrations and story stations will highlight pioneer tools, clothing, household routines, and the ingenuity that helped early settlers adapt. Volunteers will share background and invite questions, making history accessible and fun.
