About this Event
Join us as we explore photography through the ages and the scientific methods used to capture memories.
Depending on available resources we will be offering 1 of the following techniques. When you call to register, staff will provide information on which one we are doing.
Option 1: We would be assembling a pinhole camera to take an develop a photograph. This would be done using direct positive paper, caffenol, and a black and white fixer. The children would be assembling the pinhole camera, while staff assist with the development process in a dark room.
Option 2: We would be diving into the historical processes of photography and how light can be used to project images we can fix to paper. We would be further exploring these processes with sun print paper and camera obscuras.
