About this Event
Teen learners are welcome to join us for Pittsburgh Musical Theater's signature Musical Theater Workshop experience, followed by optional discounted attendance at PMT's professional production of "Dear Evan Hansen"
PMT’s signature Musical Theater Workshop is a performance-based musical theater preparation class, in which students will learn dance, acting, and group vocal skills. Students will work with PMT Ambassador students and Resident Artist faculty members to participate in a learning experience structured like PMT Conservatory’s Musical Theater Workshop.
Divided into acting exercises, singing techniques, choreography, and more, students will combine all these skills, and put them into action to perform musical selections in the form of a 10-15 minute medley at the end the experience.
Afterwards, students and guardians can purchase discounted tickets to the afternoon performance of “Dear Evan Hansen” in the Gargaro Theater.
