Jim Brown grew up on Long Island where he graduated from Islip High School. He was on the camp staff at Baiting Hollow Scout Camp and earned his Eagle Scout rank in Troop 201. Jim attended Kutztown University for his undergraduate degree and East Stroudsburg University for his Master’s degrees in biology and secondary education. Jim has been teaching biology with the Easton Area School District for over 30 years. At EAHS he advises the Lehigh Valley Science Fair and the Chief Science Officers organization. Away from work, Jim enjoys time with his family on their small farm, exploring the outdoors with his dog Molly, and reading for pleasure. Jim’s hobbies include working with his Clydesdale horses and raising rabbits and geese. Jim has been fortunate to travel extensively showing his Palomino rabbits through the American Rabbit Breeders Association and is the current vice president of the Palomino Rabbit Co-Breeders Association.
