Jonah Klixbull is a music educator at Mount Nittany Middle School in the State College Area School District, where he teaches choir, piano, and general music. With over fourteen years of experience teaching students from Pre-K through 12th grade in multiple states, Jonah is passionate about helping young musicians develop confidence, creativity, and strong music literacy skills. He holds a deep interest in the intersection of music education, literacy, and student identity, and he is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction at Penn State University. Jonah’s teaching focuses on making music accessible to all learners through active music-making, collaboration, and exploration. In addition to teaching, he directs student vocal ensembles and enjoys composing and arranging music for young performers. Through events like Remake Learning Days, Jonah hopes to spark curiosity and help students and families experience the joy of learning through music.
