Lorraine Shaffer is the Founder of Kid’s Innovation Playground (KiP), a 501c3 nonprofit bridging the educational gap in STEAM experiences for children and youth in rural western Pennsylvania. She has developed engaging programs such as Tech Tinkering, Kids Love Engineering, Arts and Bots, Drone Zone, It’s Electric, and a First Lego Team. She mentors pre-service teachers in integrating educational technology and promoting growth mindset.
