Mia is currently an 8th grader at CCA (Commonwealth Charter Academy), a cyber school, where she participates in multiple clubs and activities, including Games for Change and Newspaper Club. In her free time, she plays various musical instruments and volunteers at her local library. She also is an avid reader and enjoys writing, going on hikes, and drawing. After high school, Mia hopes to pursue a job in the technology/computer field while simultaneously striving to make a positive impact on her community.

Centered Earth will bring a variety of pottery projects to choose from and participants will get to paint their own pottery! Their items will then be fired by Centered Earth and available later for pickup. **Please note: this event is open to ages 8-17**

Grow healthy foods that you can eat. Tweens and Teens can plant their own window box herb garden, learn about how to take care of and harvest the herbs and some of the uses of the plants they will grow. Then help create a more beautiful space for your herb garden; Supplies will also be available to make an upcycled sun catcher for your planter's window.
