Sophia is a high school student at Shady Side Academy in Pittsburgh, PA. Sophia was born in Shanghai, China, and is biracial and bilingual (and currently in the process of becoming trilingual!). Sophia is very passionate about creating mixed-race community and advocating for mixed-raced voices; she is passionate about sharing youth voices and expressions, and loves doing projects at the Saturday Light Brigade Radio Youth Media Center! Sophia is also very passionate about connecting with her community, both on a local and global scale. Sophia also has a variety of hobbies including dancing, singing, writing, rock climbing, and modeling.
