Dr. Stephanie Ivory serves as Associate Professor of Education and Chair of the Education Department at Saint Francis University, with more than 15 years of experience in higher education. Prior to entering higher education, she taught elementary school for nine years. She holds a Doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction and Reading Specialist Certification.

Her work focuses on preparing preservice teachers in literacy and STEAM education. She teaches courses in literacy as well as upper-level methods courses in science and mathematics, emphasizing the integration of literacy and STEAM learning in elementary classrooms.

Through her teaching, research, and service, Dr. Ivory advocates for innovative, student-centered literacy and STEM initiatives that prepare future educators to effectively support young learners. By fostering meaningful partnerships between universities, schools, and community organizations, she works to expand opportunities that inspire the next generation of educators and learners.
