About this Event

Come Celebrate the Earth & our Community!

Celebrate joyful learning at Beloit Public Library’s Earth Day Celebration & Community Festival on Saturday, April 24 from 1 until 2pm at the Beloit Public Library.

As Beloit’s celebration of “Badgerland Learning Days,” celebrate all of the fun and different ways we learn in our community with a variety of hands-on activity booths hosted by partner organizations.

Listen to stories connected to Earth Day; learn how you can help protect our planet; meet Splash, the mascot for Protect Wisconsin Waterways; check out some cool displays; play fun games; and make a theme-related craft.

This Beloit-area mini-fest will feature an Earth Day extravaganza, with hands-on programs, games and activities for youth from over one dozen local organizations!   See what you can do to help live lightly and take care of Mother Earth.  Learn about nature, try your hand at robotics, get crafty with art projects, express your inner artist, meet a live support dog and take part in hands-on activities from local organizations and family-friendly attractions.

Thanks to our collaboration with Dwelling Angels, complimentary refreshments will be provided for families to enjoy! Dwelling Angels will have refreshments from 12p-1:30p.

The public is invited to drop in anytime during the event hours to enjoy the festivities and hands-on activities.

The Beloit event celebrates Badgerland Learning Days — a festive week of over 250 free and low-cost, family-friendly events offered by nearly five dozen organizations and locations throughout Southcentral Wisconsin.
