About this Event
Join us to explore how to design accessible art and music experiences that support individuals of all abilities.
Join us for an engaging, hands-on session focused on designing accessible art and music experiences that celebrate and support individuals of all abilities. Participants will deepen their understanding of how to identify and respond to students’ unique strengths, needs, communication styles, and sensory preferences. Through guided discussion and practical examples, we will explore ways to intentionally plan inclusive creative experiences that remove barriers and promote meaningful participation.
This session will include interactive “make-and-take” activities, giving you the opportunity to create adaptable materials and tools you can immediately use with your students. Participants will also receive curated resources, planning templates, and strategy guides to support implementation and next steps in their own classrooms or programs.
Whether you are new to inclusive arts programming or looking to expand your current practices, you will leave with practical ideas, ready-to-use materials, and a clear plan to better support each student’s individual abilities through art and music.
